Who are Steatite Embedded?
Steatite Embedded is a division of Steatite Ltd, who are in turn part of the Solid State Group. Previously known as ICP, we have recently changed our name to Steatite Embedded as it better represents the products and services we can offer.

How long have you been around?
Steatite Embedded, under the name 'ICP' was established in 2003 as a division of Wordsworth Technology Ltd. Wordsworth was founded in 1985 and is also now a division of Steatite Ltd. Steatite have been trading since 1938.

What do you do?
We supply embedded boards and computers for use in applications where reliability, compactness, power efficiency and longevity of supply are required.

What engineering capabilities do you have?
We believe that it is our engineering capability that sets us apart from our competition. With many years of technical experience throughout the company, we feel that we have the skill sets to meet any challenges you may have for us.  Our particular areas of expertise include:
- Windows Embedded operating system design and customisation
- Custom chassis design and manufacture
- Full solution specification, design and build
